Meet the Team

Dr. John Lanier graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. He has practiced in Naples since 1980.

Dr. Lanier’s interests include companion animal care, dentistry, surgery, avian medicine, exotic and small mammal medicine. Dr. Lanier also donates his time and services through his work with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and the Big Cypress National Preserve in the capture, recollaring, emergency care, and treatment of the Florida panther.

Dr. Lanier is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians, and the Collier County Veterinary Society.

Michaela is our Hospital Administrator and has been with GGAC since 2009, where she started as a technician and quickly transitioned to management. She has been in the veterinary field for 25 years in which she started as a receptionist and then moved into a technician position shortly after. While managing the practice she also attended FSW to receive her A.S in Business Management & Law studies, and was able to earn the very prestigious CVPM title (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager).

Joclyn is one of our outstanding Client Service Specialists who was new to Veterinary medicine when she started. Joclyn has done such a wonderful job helping clients with all their pets needs we have promoted her to Head Client Service Specialist. You can see her bright smiling face when you walk in the door and be sure to know that she always goes above and beyond for our wonderful clients.

Aleeya is a skilled veterinary dental technician and surgical assistant with a passion for providing high-quality patient care. She specializes in dental cleanings, radiographs, and surgical support, always ensuring pets are comfortable and well cared for during their procedures. Outside of the clinic, Aleeya enjoys relaxing beach days collecting seashells, painting, and spending time with her beloved dog, Checo.

Jennifer is a dedicated Certified Veterinary Assistant who brings compassion and excellent care to every patient she meets. With a focus on patient comfort and client communication, she plays a vital role in supporting both the veterinary team and pet owners. Jennifer is a proud mom to her daughter, and when she’s not at the clinic, she enjoys spending quality family time. Her friendly personality and commitment to animal care make her an invaluable part of our team.

Leanyi is a Certified Veterinary Assistant with a bubbly personality and a true love for all animals. In addition to assisting with patient care, she also helps at the front desk, welcoming every client and pet with a warm smile. Whether she’s comforting a nervous patient or helping pet parents at check-in, Leanyi’s upbeat energy and compassion shine through in everything she does. Her dedication to both animal care and client service makes her a valued part of our team.

Ariana is a Certified Veterinary Assistant who is passionate about animal care and dedicated to pursuing her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She provides attentive, compassionate care to every patient and always strives to learn more in the field. Ariana is excited to take the next step in her journey as she begins college this fall to work toward her veterinary degree. Her kindness, eagerness to learn, and love for animals make her a wonderful asset to our team.

Yasmeen is one of the smiling faces you’ll often see at Golden Gate Animal Clinic. As both a Veterinary Technician and Receptionist, she combines her medical knowledge with her warm, outgoing personality to make every visit as comfortable as possible for pets and their families.

She has a true passion for helping people and their pets, and clients appreciate how she always goes the extra mile to answer questions, offer support, and make everyone feel welcome. Her dedication shines both in the exam room and at the front desk, where she ensures communication and care go hand-in-hand.

Outside of the clinic, Yasmeen loves traveling and exploring new places. Her adventurous spirit and positive energy carry over into her work, making her an invaluable part of our team and a favorite among clients.
